Any player can create a guild, but a guild must have at least 2 players in it. What's the point of a guild war with 1 man guilds? The owner of a guild can ask a admin to designate an area in the Wilderness zone for a guild base. Similar to Player Protected Areas, Guild Protected Areas protect the players in the guild that owns it to be safe from harm. The guild castle is also protected. Other factions can be let in but only the visiting faction can be hurt. Players in the same guild cannot harm each other. Guild areas can be a max of 100x100 blocks and 4 deep. once you mine below the fourth layer, you are not protected and enemy factions can kill you underground.
